My thoughts?
Although this is the second book you could read it as a standalone (as I did) however I am going to go back and read Block 46.
The story opens in the heart of London in 1888 where Jack the Ripper is at large. Johana takes us right there - we see the sights and sounds, the stench and deprivation and how London was then. We then jump to 2015 with the abduction of an actress who has carefully hidden secrets and the killing of a woman in Sweden. Both have hallmarks of a London case 10 years ago. But this can't be true - the killer is locked up...or is he?
I loved this fast paced read and discovering the links between the stories. An absolutely terrific read which I highly recommend.
